This year’s GDC has a rich selection of narrative design offerings! I’m particularly excited for the “Not in the Writer’s Manual” session, the “Setting the Stage: Player as Performer” presentation, and the workshops on game storytelling fundamentals and portfolio building. Interactive narrative is such a fresh, young format for telling stories, and I’m excited to really dive into it.

The scholarship includes a Virtual All Access GDC Pass, meaning that our participants will get access to five days of expert-led education on key game development topics, as well as several special features throughout the week. Attendees have the opportunity to gain insight into the future of games, be inspired by new techniques, and discover creative new approaches.
